Manage Content & Paint Shed?

I have changed computers... so I had to reload both TRS2006 and TS2009. I had access to "Paint Shed" and a huge array of assets to download.

On the new computer I no longer have Paint Shed and I am having trouble w/Content Manager. It will not open in TRS2006 (gets an error message). It opens in TS2009... but has very limited assets to download?

Does anyone have any advise???

Whats the operating system on it? That could be a problem. Other than that I can't offer much help. Maybe some of the other legends around here might be able to help you out.

First things first.

We could do with the system specs of the new system, so advice can be given re updating drivers.

It may also be worth updating your DirectX if you haven't already, see http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=58843 for my tutorial thread on how to update it.

As for the TS2009/not many assets issue, that sounds like an unpatched version, so posting your current TS2009 build number here will help.

I would advise that you update that to build 41844 (SP3)

Be aware though, that you probably will not see a lot of content then, as quite a bit of it has been designed for TS2010/TS2009 SP4.

At a loss...

OK... I downloaded the patch suggested. Everything worked OK before I did this. This did nothing to help... and now I cannot use the driver. It freezes my computer. I have to close and reboot.

As a side note... Everthing worked fine in TRS2006, then I "upgraded" to TS2009... lost everything that was built in TRS2006... rebuilt in TS2009. I have never had a great experience w/2009 version... now I am fearful of wiping out everything I have created... AGAIN!
