All talk - no action!

I am getting responses from the helpdesk but the bottom line is that my long overdue order of 2 Feb (see above and elsewhere) is still showing as "shipping pending"

Well, another day has gone by with no further response from the Helpdesk and with my order of 2 Feb still showing "shipping pending".

NEXT WEEK WILL BE THE THREE MONTH ANNIVERSARY OF AURAN TAKING MY MONEY.

Is this a record for poor service?
 
A pox on your online store!

Yet another day has gone by and no further work from helpdesk or anyone else. Shipping still shown as pending.

Just a suggestion,
If you get it sent by mail, it could of been sent to someone else by accident,
It could still be at the post office,
Or it could still be on its way.

You never know

Hope it turns up soon!
 
Online shop problem

Hi Ronayne,

It would be nice to think it had just been lost in the mail. That does happen. However in this case it is still showing "shipping pending" when I look into my purchase history and I have had responses suggesting there was a problem at about the time I ordered. No problem taking my money though!

At last ...

... 3 months after I placed the Order, and after Auran acknowledged a problem and created a replacement Order, I arrived home from Brisbane yesterday to find my copy of TS2009 on my doorstop.

Mind you, the shop still says "shipping pending" for the replacement Order - but that's their problem.

Notwithstanding all of this nonsence, I will still buy from the online shop in future as my earlier experiences were all very positive.
 
DISAPPOINTED TRAINZ FANatic

I have been using Paypal over the internet for about two year now without any problems, however for Auran and Trainz that is about to change.

I first purchased Ultimate Trainz, followed by 2004, 2006. I currently use 2004 (I believe that version to be the least troublesome}. I, like Geoff McDougall have ordered the 2009 WBE (mine being the digital version) something I have never done before and did not wish too, but this seems to be the only way I can receive the latest version of trainz quickly “as I thought”.
Having taken my money I am still waiting for my download and Auran are not answering my emails.

I have nothing but praise for the programmers and the guy’s that contribute to the Trainz downloads it makes for a truly amazing piece of software, but Auran cannot treat their customers in this manner.

PLEASE, PLEASE sort out this problem, if you do not, few will purchase Trainz over the internet, (which is the only way they can receive their copies), and that equates to no more Trainz for all of us.

If I am not in receipt of my copy of Trainz 2009WBE within the next few days I will abandon any future Trainz for good. I know I am only one dissatisfied customer but the fact is, you can only purchase Trainz over the internet now, so how many more dissatisfied customers will it take before, Trainz is Dead

Your's is different than Geoff's....he ordered the disk, you ordered the download...his was 3 months of waiting...you don't say when you ordered...you paid by PayPal...who knows, you might not have had enough money in the account as far as we know. You are telling just one side of the story. In all your time here you posted once....I don't think you are going to influence many to not buy if you don't get what you want and when....nothing wrong with venting dissatisfaction, but I get tired of people who get torqued at Auran and then predict gloom and doom for Auran simply because of their situation.....trust me..you don't have that kind of pull....:cool:
 
It was not my intention to influence any Trainz member or veterans off, it was only to bring to the attention of prospective buyers that Auran are not treating there customers with the respect they disserve

Paypal have assured me the money had been paid into Aurans account.

If there had been two sides of the story, you would have been told................ Auran are not replying to my emails,......... you recall.

Yes, Geoff did order a disk, .......and Auran kept him waiting three months.

Yes I did order the download, but only on the strength of Geoff informing other members of his problems. Thank Goodness.(My disk would have to travel halfway round the world, I’m in the UK).

I should like to hear how long you would be prepared to wait for your digital download knowing that Auran have your money.

It’s not my intention to predict doom and gloom for Auran ......They seem quite capable of doing that themselves.

Australian users slugged more than double than OS users?

Thought time had come to download the new version Trs2009. Yes, I could find the US$29 for the software and fit it in to the download plan.
In I went ready to purchase and lo and behold the price for us lucky Australian supporters of this product, is that it is AU$69 !!. Now the AU$ has slipped a bit against the US$ but .42 ~ it has never reached.
Right set your price in $US but then do the right thing: convert it a market rates or near to.
So how about a bit of professionalism here: build a conversion utility to update the rates at least daily. If you want the code for this just contact me.

Treat your customer base with a bit of respect for their common sense as this looks and feels like a rip off.
Looks like I'll have to hang around until it gets remaindered at the local swap meet.
 
Although the Internet has been around for 15 years, many people have still never purchased online. In this thread, please let us know your online shopping habits and your personal views regarding online purchases.

PayPal once nicked €50 from me and never refunded it, so I'm never doing business with them again. However, if one could use PayByCash for online purchases on the Auran website, it would actually let me use my debitcard through my bank's secure payment system. I'd recommend Auran should look into it, as it has a huge amount of payment options. Payment from them to gaming company is done instantly too without a glitch. I've used it for my EVE Online subsciption for years, and same for my Planetside subscription before that.
