I have purchased Trainz Driver, Trainz Classics 1 & 2, TheCowboy's UP 9000, Perchpole's Class 46, and by Thursday morning, Trainz Classics 3. Trainz Classics 3 is the best of them all, it is stable and has superb trains!

Not happy with service

I orded (and payed for) TRS2009 over 2 months ago and I am still waiting for it to be shipped. I cannot download it because of my location (40km from Dubbo NSW) I only have dialup internet. How long will it be before it is shipped, and I DONOT WANT TO HERE THE WORD SOON. If it is out of stock then it should say so on the shop site when people order it.

you'll need to contact the Helpdesk about that: http://support.auran.com/

contact the Helpdesk. see the link above.

however you may be able to do so thru your Planet Auran Profile ("Profile" link in the upper left of the screen.)

I have purchased all versions of Trainz and each time I did so thru the Auran on-line Shop. Until this 'time I have always had good experiences. This time however I have been waiting well over 2 months and helpdesk just responds by saying item is out of stock - for 2 months !!!.

I had a retail copy in my hands earlier today and I darn near bought it out of frustration :o
Cheers,

I'll take a look on Tuesday. There were a number of orders that went into the system, but got 'stuck'. These all appeared to be on the one day, or at least last updated on that day (March). Unless Alan has already replied to you...
Zec

Hi Zec,

Still showing shipping pending (for the order that was placed on 2 Feb!).

How about I go and buy a retail copy and just send you the invoice for the difference in cost?

Better still I will be in Brisbane on business the week after next. I could pop 'round and pick up a copy personally, I am sure you have few copies laying 'round the office.

Or you could just put a copy in the mail in the usual way.

Just a thought, if I pop in I can pick up a copy for maddogau as well and post it off to him. Would that help?

Cheers,
Geoff.

unfortunately, the closest store to me that stocks the Trainz games is a 3 hour bus journey away! and i cant purchase online because i dont have a credit card or a paypal account.

A serve for Auran

Thanks for your responses on and off forum Zec.

I have lodged another ticket with the helpdesk in the hope of getting a sensible response.

In the meantime I thought I might try a bit of public humiliation in the hope that might get some action, so here goes -

I placed an Order for TS2009 on 2 Feb. Auran helped itself to my money on 3 Feb (pretty efficient in that department!).

On 7 April I made enquiries of the new Helpdesk as to the whereabouts of my Order. On 9 April I got the response "we are temporarily out of stock" and the Helpdesk ticket was promptly closed.

I am sorry guys but you have NOT been out of stock ever since 2 Feb.

All I am asking (apart from my software) is a sensible explanation of what has happened. If you stuffed up then just say so and I will be happy. But don't fob me off by saying you are out of stock.

I am usually not one to carry on like this, but I have supported Trainz since the very beginning and I am very dissapointed with this situation.

To take someone's money and not deliver amounts to fraud.

Am I the only person in this situation or are others also being stuffed around?

Geoff.

You can purchase some items with a cheque or postal order if you are in the UK.

Mail or PM me with what you want to buy and we'll take it from there.

Mike.

I too am peturbed to hear about this situation.

My past experience is that Auran are very quick to take the money, but have certainly never kept me waiting a couple of months. Stories like this make prospective buyers nervous if nothing else.
