Finally getting a new laptop. The better half wants my old Lenovo and this is all I can afford but it should run TRS19 tons better than the old integrated graphics thing I've had for the last few years.

Sorry to read about your health issue, sir -- Laptop does a good job when facing health issues, indeed!

I never used it at the Hospital because I had so many machines attached to me, however, when the time came to do rehab at the Hospital, walking. etc with my nurses I glanced at other rooms, and actually saw people using their laptops since the Hospital had free wifi!

Yeah ish. I have a rare genitic disease and may be facing a double transplant for a liver lung transplant. When it happens, We'll be away from home for 3-4 months and the laptop will be my only machine. The liver transplant will be for sure, just finishing up a slew of tests before I go on the list but I see a lung specialist today and that may be part of the operation. Will be nice to be able to breathe again and not have the massive fluid buildup I now have among other issues.

You might like to look at Newegg.ca they have GTX 1050 TI for roughly the same price or a little cheaper and one GTX 1060 laptop. The GTX 1050 laptops are available for under $1,000.

On a side note: Finally got my test results to reverse the colostomy, and surgery has been dated for Dec 19 -- I ask for this day, since I got two little girls at elementary school, so they'll be home during this time-frame! Mother-in-law will be overlooking them!

Back to the laptop -- I have talked to my wife about getting one just for emergency, like a hospital stays. Etc … nothing fancy, just powerful enough to run T12, since that's the platform I use to make contents! Just to create assets … We'll see! LOL

Yup the warmer days will have to wait. It's a bit chilly here too with ice on the pond in the backyard proving it with it beginning to ice over.
