Hi Doug

Yes this is good news at last. At least this piece mentions Riley and Son Ltd as the engineers who carried out much of the work. Reading an item about this on teletext earlier it just said it had been restored in a shed in Bury which made me smile, as it conjured up the image of some guy working on it in his garden shed.

It is good news. Don't want to wander off too much but what happened to that steam engine that cost a million to build??

I understand the Flying Scotsman cost 7,500 pounds to build in 1924.
