Looking for:

A steel deck truss bridge, preferably in spline form, for 1 and 2 track bridges (track optional) usable for TS12.
Nearest I can find is Howe truss in wood............simply won't do.
These are fairly common bridges in US,.............but noticably lacking on DLS!
Don't want to wake up Ben Dorsey unless I really have to......hoping something exists somewhere.

I am amazed at all the multitudes of bridges on the DLS alone. Bendorsey has many more, in excess of 1000 bridges. I am sure that a similar one to your needs is there someplace, hidden away, under some non-discript name.

Can you Google "Image" a photo of the bridge type ?

I did a search for all of Tom's content presently on the DLS..............can't find one, by iyself. Those he has are incorporated into larger bridges.

There are a few steel truss bridges on the DLS. Seaching for "steel truss" in Content Manager brought up several. If you search for "austin warren truss" you should find another.

You probably should post a photo of what you're looking for...

On deck truss bridges the truss is underneath the rails; on through truss bridges the truss is above.

If you search for "deck truss" there are several on the DLS.

I'd be interested too. The ones I've seen on the DLS aren't quite what I need either. I'm working on my own project based on the same railroad!

I got 'em! My apologies, I forgot I could put in a fairly refined search on the DLS. I managed to pull up the ones referened above and a few from the old DLS. Thanks again, guys; sometimes us grayhairs need you young'uns to help us remember what we forgot.

I haven't made very many spline bridges and those I have are in 2004 format. Newer versions do splines quite differently so they probably wouldn't without considerable changes requiring the original Gmax mesh.

Fixed bridges (non-spliens) I may have as many as 2000 (I like making bridges, lol).

Ben, I'm collecting photos and info now on what I need. If you'd be kind enough to make a few of these I'd sure appreciate it. TS12 is somewhat wanting in this type of bridge. I will contact you via e-mail with the info, photos, and whatever textures I can dig up.
