Looking for UK Signals (TC1 compatible)

Kinda bummed as I've just reinstalled Trainz Railways (believe it is also called Trainz Classics) and have moved all TRS2006 content to TC as per instructions on these forums, and I can't get the default UK signals to work correctly.

Namely the signals with the white 'feather' aspects.

Can anyone suggest a suitable TC-compatible version of these signals please?

I've had a look on the DLS, but I'm unsure as to the correct category to choose from....Trackside objects would be the most likely but there are only two items that are TC1/2 compatible.....

If there aren't any suitable, is there anyway to recode the ones from 06 to work in TC properly?

Yes - you need Bloodnok's signals 2AT, 3AT and 4AT collection which are all available on the DLS. They are a little fiddly to get working correctly, but with a bit of trial, error and patience (the Railway Modeller's Holy Trinity) you'll get to understand how they work.

In a nutshell, you place the Left Hand (or Rt Hand) feather on the diverging route and the Straight Arrow on the main route. Finally, you place the signal at the junction approach. You then hit the ? mark in Surveyor, rename the signal in prototype fashion - 3 letters and 3 numbers (eg BTM 001), you click on "Aspect Controlled by "None" which should change to "Feathers" and finally you click on "Update Now". You might find you have to repeat this a couple of times - you know if it has "taken" because the nameplate on the signal changes to your chosen name.

Sometimes, you need to set and reset the Junction Lever a couple of times before the signal shows the route indicator, and just occasionally, you find you have to delete the signal and start again but with perseverance you will get there!

There are also Theatre Route Indicators for bloodnok's signals which operate prototypically.

Hope this helps you.
