Looking for Communities Thoughts

I have an idea however I am curious what the communities support to it is as it requires a great deal of support from it. I would like to get a team together to build one of France's LGV lines. Personally I was thinking of either the LGV Est (into Switzerland) or the Eurotunnel Route (Paris to London), but I am open to do other LGV lines as well. I am aware that both proposed routes are thousands of Kilometers long and I do not expect the layout to be completed in a short while (I'm thinking a year or more). However I am very curious as to what sort of support the Content Creation Community would be willing to help out in. In particular the project would need decent route builders, some modelers willing to make a number of specific models that would help bring the route to life.

While I welcome all comments I'll be more interested in the comments from established content creators here rather than the new guys (not that you don't do good stuff; I'm just not as familiar with it)

I'm doing a TGV route from Lyon to roughly 1/2 to Marseille (part I) and then Part II Marseille to that 1/2 point. Pics below.

I'm assuming freeware as to be an effective route Google would have to play a big part in making it look realistic enough.

I'd be interested though as I love those European train stations, routes, the TGV etc.

I did a rough route from Paris - Gare du Nord to Arras - couple of shots of Gare du Nord:

Didnt you start a chunnel route? Or am I thinking of someone else.

I did in TS10; however TS10 was giving me issues so I went back to TS9. It wan't much of a Eurotunnel route to begin with anyways.

Hello PerRock,

I would love a TGV route in Trainz, say Paris to Switzerland, from the green grass to the snow on the ground kind of route, from the country hills in France to the Mountains of Switzerland, I have always asked for one to be added to the Trainz DVD in the past (if one was available), along with an Acela Route and possibly a Japanese Bullet train route and finally The Orient Express Route.

Auran and the content creators would make money from them, by making them as add on packs to Trainz, similar to the Settle and Carlise route from England. I have had this idea for a long time, but never really spoke of it until now.

Good luck Peter with your route idea, and I really do hope Auran make it an add on pack for Trainz.
