Looking for American passenger cars to make reskins with.

I've searched the DLS, I've searched Trainz Forge, I've searched many more Trainz sites that I could think of, and I checked the config text file of each model I downloaded and installed to find confirmation/permission. But I just can't find the right set of American passenger cars to make reskins with. Can somebody post pictures here of which passenger cars can be reskinned and reshared, please?

What type of passenger cars are you looking for? Heavyweights? Stainless Steel? Smooth sided? Are you looking to reskin into a popular railroad? You might have a look at Trainz Forge, they have quite a number of freeware passenger cars.

It's a tigerko15 kitbash. Likely got deleted as he quit trainz recently

I guess there is no way to get the tigerko kitbashes now. The Google Drive links through Wayback archive on CPLW lead to a request access page which means the files were marked private. I think Texas State Shops will be hosting some models in the future a little at a time. It bums me out when I fail to download things then the site goes belly up and the files aren’t archived. I do have some McCloud 2-8-2’s I downloaded when the CPLW site was active. I wanted the Grand Canyon and Cuyahoga Valley 2-8-2’s and the tenders look to be custom jobs that aren’t available anywhere else. The locos are Ben Neal kitbashes.

Probably your best bet.

It says it only works for Trainz 2019 and 2022. But the thing is I use T:ANE, too, and I want to make my reskins compatible for that.

To be exact about one example of my own, I looked at these Union Pacific passenger cars, and the config text file says they're okay to do whatever I want with them, but not the config text about the other one. I tried Gmailing the contact-email directly for confirmation about both, but I heard nothing back from them.

Same here - DLS and https://jatwsorg.mywhc.ca/PWeiser/ . Should work in TNG except for one (recent) TS19. My standard "licence" is "Free for any use whatever."
