Looking for a cure

I'm having a couple of annoyance that my TS-12 (58414) is causing me to tear my hair out and I have very little left:- first of all; I am building a number of small sections with industry and track as part of a bigger route and what I'm confused about is that on one section the track I usually use - Uk bullhead track 09 goes down normally and places the point levers at junctions, not a worry, but on another section I use the same track but there are no point levers to be found and for the life of me I can't work out why.

My second problem is tunnels for some reason mine lock to angles of 45 degrees (45, 90, 135, 180...well you get the picture) which is great if the track is at that angle but I need a tunnel that runs off at about 10 degrees but none of the tunnels I can find seem to be able to go to such an angle am I overlooking something????

Any thoughts

Thanks

Tunnels lock at 45 degree angle.. lock to what? the squares of the baseboard? That is because you use standard tunnels. There are many tunnels that you can turn in any direction as needed irregardless of where the are in the terrain (you just have to punch a "hole" in the grill). As per the points: You create a diverging track and the point is not automatically added.. Can you add it manually?

The track issue puzzles me. Have you tried another track just to make sure something else isn't borked? It can happen and you might have some faulty assets or need a database repair. It could be simpler than that too such as putting the track on the wrong layer and when you return to Surveyor, you don't see the levers.

The tunnels are made that way so they will feed through the mesh. There is away around this, but you need to use a dig-hole. Andi06, among others has made a dig-hole asset. The tunnel can be made into a track or bridge and then it can be placed at any angle. The dig-hole is placed on the terrain where the tunnel mouths exist. These literally punch a hole in the terrain so that there isn't any earth going through the tunnel entrance.

I have some tunnels and portals that also involve a Dighole. Click on my sig below and go to My Content. They are available for download on the DLS. There is also a tutorial on how to install the tunnels and portals under Tutorials.
