Looking for a 2 track viaduct spline

Thai1On

Slave to my route
Working on my route I find I need a two track "bendy" black steel viaduct. Below are pictures of the C&O viaduct in Cincinnati. Is there anything close to this on the DLS or third party sites? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not aware of a 2-track rail bridge similar to your screenshots, but there are a few road bridges.

This built in Road SteelBridge <kuid:-1:1058> is just about workable if you lay tracks over the road. There is just enough space for two tracks but the road camber might mean a bit of fiddling and compromise.

Hey there Mezzoprezzo, I see you are a fellow 2004 Trainzer. Good to know that there are still some of us around.

Thai10n, my advice to you is contact Ben Dorsey for he is the bridge king and master creator of all kind of bridges. He just recently made me a two track wooden trestle that looks and works just great. Between the two of us, we worked out the track spacing so that Auran's double track will attach to it. I think that a steel & concrete version of a two track bridge is well within his reach. He will actually make what ever you want, make sure it IS what you want and not stop until you are 100% satisfied. He does request pictures and/or plans for requests but with what you have I'm sure he can work with you, especially if you can get more pictures of that bridge above.

Printed out the pics.

I need:

length of the deck plate girders. e
Hight of the rails above the ground.
Pic of either end
Center to center track spacing.
Is it open or closed deck (with ballast).

Wow,it is so cool to see this thread come back to life . Ben, I'll look on the net to see what I can find. I live on the other side of the planet now so going there in person will be a little difficult;). From what I remember it was an open deck style viaduct. Ultimately I would need it to be a spline because once the C&O crossed the Ohio river (on a bridge you've made) it's viaduct snaked around the banks of the Ohio river before ending at the southern entrance to the Cincinnati Union Terminal.

Printed this one out.

You might be able to get some info from googling it (even from Thailand, lol).

I already have the deck plate girders asI have quite a library of re-usable parts and assemblies so I don't have to re-invent the wheel everythime someone asks me to make another bridge. This won't take long once I have the info and worse come to worse I can do a bit of by-guess and by-golly on it based on the auto and loco as a reference.
