LOOK WHAT I FOUND!!!

Well, I guess Auran didn't already own the 'Trainz' domain name which some net-savvy person promptly registered for their site (if you notice the URL for the Forum is part of auran.com), so I wouldn't call it an 'imposter' at all.

At least it's indeed about trains (presumably model railways) - it could have been a malware site or something for all we knew. ;)

:D well i thought it was funny. i was doing a search in google for a kuid, and i put trainz followed by the kuid, and that was the ONLY result. lol just thought it was funny.

Lionel have been using the 'trainz' trademark for decades, since at least the 80s IIRC.

Given that they're one of the biggest model train manufacturers in the US, if not the biggest at least the most well known, I'd be very weary about throwing around 'imposter' claims.

I guess it was just one of those things where Auran didn't think to check back in 2000 or whenever.

Actually, I believe I recall seeing banners for that site on these forums before. Went there and it looks like a good site. Lots of good tinplate on it, as I recall. Can't see any harm coming from it.

They are very real, they even have a YouTube page, and if they were not real, they would not be here.

Who, that train sim site has some REALLY nice models and graphics. Id all most say they where real. But whats up with that middle rail?

I own trains12.com and trainz12.com:)

But the best is azvrr.com just gotta figure out what I'm going to do with it
