I assume everyone here has at least heard of or seem Tariacuri's amazing Minnesota-style Taconite Jimmies (though if you don't have them installed, you are SO missing out!) as well as their generic/MoW variants. if not, they're at missaberoad.com
My problem is, I'd love to have a proper route to run them on...but for the life of me I can't find a route that could pass for the Upper Peninsula/Minnesota Two-harbors region without major surgery: normally I'm fine with doing a bit of tweaking to a route (hardly a line I D/L doesn't get modded in some way shape or form by yours truly) But I'd really rather not spend inordinate amounts of time hacking up a route that isn't one I intend to release myself...not that I would EVER release someone else's work as my own! (got jumped on that before, covering bases now!)
My question is, does anybody know of either A) a FREEWARE route (since I'm really only getting this for one asset, the ore cars, I'd rather not spend money on it) that represents Minnesota and the Iron Ore Regions, or B) a route that would/could be slightly modified to form a reasonable facsimile for the area...up to and including adding/kitbashing a couple mines and such.
Any help would be greatly appreciated; I'm kinda tired of trundling smoking taconite trains through all my midwestern-themed routes, if you know what I mean :hehe: thank you in advance!
