Locos wo trucks?

Hello;
I've got 3 locos in TS2009 that have no trucks.
They are all L SD70. One is Conrail Quality, one is NS, the other is Illinois Central Gulf.
All 3 of these show up in Surveyor but have no trucks.
There are no errors or warnings in CMP, and when I try to open for edit, I get a warning that I am not authorized to do so.

What's up with these "floating" locomotives?

Thanks

FW

The SD70's in TS2009 are broken, this has been mentioned several times before on here. Doesn't look like they will be fixed in the near future either.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of other content on DLS that's broken in TS2009.

They may appear broken in TS2009 but they do work as long as you run it in compatability mode. The reason why they seem broken is the way content is configured/scripted in TS2009 is different to earlier versions (exept TC3).

That was one thing I was surprised about. These locos don't have any trucks, but they still run! Looks pretty silly.
I've seen a lot of content that has warnings in TS2009 but still runs. Except for those locos, I haven't found anything missing on content that runs.

Napalm,
Are you saying that Phil's SD70's have bogies in your TS2009? I've tried them with and without compatability mode and no bogies and the start up script doesn't work. Even Phil has admitted that Auran has done something to them and he doesn't plan on fixing them at this time.

Auran should fes-up and make things right with Phil. Seems, we, the content users, are the ones who are the losers in this “battle” if I can call it that. Phil was gracious enough to provide high quality content and someone at Auran “allegedly” changed something and broke it. Now the end user, you/me, are paying the price.
Just my thoughts.

No, they don't have bogies in my TS2009. My last post was in response to 'fwassner' saying that there seems to be a lot of content broken in TS2009.

When looking at content in CM they may have errors showing but they will work (most of the time) in TS2009, they may show in the pick list as yellow or red text.

This was mentioned in another thread and it seems that TS2009 is a perfectionist when it comes to the cofig files and scripts. Configs and Scripts written for previous versions may have errors in them that the previous versions over looked and also we musn't forget that TS2009 native model is .im not .pm and also texturing has changed slightly.
All that has changed is for the better and it will take time for content to either be 'fixed', re-produced or new content made.
