Locomotive Magically Dissapearing

What did you edit in the route?
Adding more baseboards, tracks, buildings, trackside objects like signals but nothing on that section of track where the train had stopped was edited. I left those tracks alone. The only thing edited was the ATLS or TRC items which weren't properly set up. All other things were left alone. This is the second time I've come across this issue. First, second and fourth times loading from a saved session after editing my route didn't cause this problem. The first time this train was just invisible even though it still showed up. Plus, that train was on a separate track and facing the opposite direction of where I left it.

Some route objects, including track objects (signals, switches, etc) and rolling stock, do have properties that are saved in sessions as well as routes. This allows you to set signals, switches and the like to different states or with different properties (e.g. loads carried) in different sessions. After you made the route edits did Trainz offer to save the session (as a new session or overwrite the original session) as well as well as the route?

No because I was not editing in session mode. All edits are done by me in surveyor mode on route layer separate from the session. Trainz offered to save the session and route, but I elected against saving it. I only save the route and not session. Otherwise, it'd create a new session, not edit the one I already created.

I get a notice that consist 7755 passed signal at danger and then see this. How could this even happen?

The consist derailed and separated on two separate tracks. This is why N3V needs to update the derailment physics, realism and AI cab controls.

There is still no evidence for this.

There must be some reason you have all of this trouble but downloading and trying your route doesn't produce any issues. I do not think this means that the developers need to change the game.

I didn't see it happen in the moment. That's the downside of not giving users an option for moving to where a derailment takes place. If N3V allowed us to click on a message of trains passing signals at danger or derailing so we could see it in real time, then the notification system would be perfect.

I just don't understand how these derailments can just keep happening for no apparent reason. A straight and level line should be easy work for AI trains. Even in DCC mode they always crash on this route. I'm out of explanations or possible reasons for the derailments. This is just getting very tiring.

A session is linked to a route. If some slight alteration is made either by you or Trainz moves something slightly, and you only save the route, then the original session may fail because of that slight difference. I would not advise opening only the route if you have a working session for it. Open both the route and session so that any slight movements of the track will get recorded in the working session. The session remembers where assets were placed and tries to place them at that same point.
The red circle could be that you have two straightened tracks joining at the merge point. Place another spline point between the red point and the next point on the straight section.

That includes the most recent picture?
