Locomotive Magically Dissapearing

What did you edit in the route?
Adding more baseboards, tracks, buildings, trackside objects like signals but nothing on that section of track where the train had stopped was edited. I left those tracks alone. The only thing edited was the ATLS or TRC items which weren't properly set up. All other things were left alone. This is the second time I've come across this issue. First, second and fourth times loading from a saved session after editing my route didn't cause this problem. The first time this train was just invisible even though it still showed up. Plus, that train was on a separate track and facing the opposite direction of where I left it.

Some route objects, including track objects (signals, switches, etc) and rolling stock, do have properties that are saved in sessions as well as routes. This allows you to set signals, switches and the like to different states or with different properties (e.g. loads carried) in different sessions. After you made the route edits did Trainz offer to save the session (as a new session or overwrite the original session) as well as well as the route?

No because I was not editing in session mode. All edits are done by me in surveyor mode on route layer separate from the session. Trainz offered to save the session and route, but I elected against saving it. I only save the route and not session. Otherwise, it'd create a new session, not edit the one I already created.
