Loco sound levels

Anyone know if there is any way of increasing the volume of a steam loco exhaust sound level without increasing the noise of the track and other sounds?
Using the sound setting in options just increases all sounds equally, but I wonder if there is setting in a .wav file of a e-spec or something that can control just the loco exhaust?

You would have to edit each and every individual single loco's sound file(s), using some program like Audacity, or something
