Loco Drivers with Ejector seats?

I seem to have developed a problem with some of the UK diesal loco's I've downloaded. Well, I should say that I'm certain the problem isn't with the content, but my PC.

The Drivers in some of my loco's (BR Class 55 Deltic and Paul Hobbs Class 04 Drewary Shunter - freeware version) now have their heads and shoulders sticking out of the cab roof!

It's only just started to happen and only occurs in Driver, not Surveyor. As I said, it doesn't occur on all loco's.

Anybody else seen this?

I would say that they have the wrong interiors. I've run into the same problem while trying to switch boogies, some sat higher or lower than others.

Is it the problem of the locos and not of the driver?

I've bought a shunter made by amazingmike with a special driver for it called "Arie Sikdriver". "A" is first in the alphabet, that's why in my sessions with automatic assigned drivers there was often a driver peeping out of the loco with head and shoulders. I renamed the driver to "ZArie Sikdriver" and the problem was solved. :)

Concrete Spats

Spookily enough... one of the layouts I've downloaded has people buried up to their necks in concrete on the platforms! :)

If you have fileviewer, check the loco mesh. a.driver0 should be at eye level for most drivers. Similarly, the driver mesh origin should be at eye level. The only exception that I know of is Kemplen's PW Pete, who, as he was Kemplen's first creation, had his origin at seat level instead of eye level. I did suggest he made a correct version as the mesh is so good but unfortunately he didn't take up the suggestion. One idea occurs to me, although I don't see why it should happen. The "standing" mesh in Auran drivers (the one with his arms by his side) has his origin at his feet and would do this.
