On the DLS 18th April 2011 - gensteal - kuid:64577:84.
I am having great difficulty in getting this to work in TS12.
Can anyone suggest how to fix it?
I have been able to get many other items of Build 2, and earlier, to work in TS12 but this one has some unusual problems.
I can't find a newer version (unless it has a different name).

We need you to right-click on it and select View Errors and Warnings and copy the errors (red X on the left of them). Then we will be able to help.

There were many errors and warnings.
Once I had fixed all I could I have been left with these.
I have not seen this "while validating mesh" before.
Maybe it would be easier if someone could make a new version of this.

Basically, this asset was not put together correctly, and TS 12 is bringing this out. Th e good news is a couple of deletions and substitutions may have this working for you:

The image 4200classe.tga was not provided by the author. This means it was never loading anyway. Substitute a texture, perhaps the shadow's "black.tga," or some other substitute texture that is the correct color.

The image big4200.tga is in the dependency "interoff4200," and "interon4200" you must extract it from there and bring it here.

The image '4200win.tga' is in a correctly handled in lower level folders, but also the mesh asks for it in the parent folder for non-door windows, so copy the image from one of the lower folders for the doors to the parent .

For the config.txt file:
  1. The the tag 'auto-create1' in container 'lighted_interior'
  2. I also have "Error: Attachment point 79 (a.passsit80) in 'queues\passengers\attachment-points' was not found." For this, delete that final attachment point in the passenger queue, looks superfluous to me.

That will remove all errors and 4 warnings will remain. I have it rendering in railyard

I have absolutely no idea what I did or how I did it but, by following your instructions, it now works.

Hey thats great. It is on the Repair List, and I have claimed it for repair, having done so much work already. Look for the :1 version soon with no warnings.
 
Stuart, I repaired that asset to TS12 stds, <KUID2:64577:84:1> described as SNCF Railcar Circa 1959, and it appears in the DLS.
