Loading TRS19 Routes and Sessions into TANE

A couple of time I have accidentally loaded .cdp files of TRS19 saved routes and sessions, with build 4.6, into TANE SP3. CM in both programs looks identical so this is probably an easy error to make.

On these occasions, the .cdps have imported successfully, 0 warnings and 0 errors, but appear in CM with a grey font and have the status "Faulty, missing dependencies". In the route and session I have used the dependencies are all on the DLS and are present in both TANE and TRS19 so they are probably not actually missing (although I understand that the baseboard grid in TRS19 is a PBX texture not available in TANE so that may explain the status).

My point is that TRS19 assets with build 4.6 should not load into TANE SP2/SP3 which has, I believe, a maximum build number of 4.5. Is this a bug or a feature?

I suspect that some users may be fooled by this into thinking that the asset is faulty or actually missing assets and they may possibly start posting questions about where they can find the mysterious "missing" dependencies.

Similar issue: you download the latest version of an "Out of Date" asset in T:ANE, and you end up with something faulty because one of the added dependencies is 4.6. No warning at any time. E.g.: <kuid2:458053:103689:1>. A 4.6 asset should not automatically download in T:ANE.

That's an interesting issue and not a good one either!

I wonder if this will change though when the latest T:ANE version is released.

I down loaded "<kuid2:458053:103689:2> Metric car wine tanker" into T:ANE and had no problem.

I just tried loading the asset <kuid2:458053:103689:2> and, as Lewis stated, it did load into TANE and has no faulty dependencies. However, I was watching the "Asset Download Parser" as it loaded and I noticed that one dependency, listed as <kuid:458053:102969> Wine, displayed the message "Unable to search asset. You do not have access to this content". CM did, however, download and install <kuid2:458053:102969:1> Wine which has build 4.5

Using TRS19 CM to look at the asset <kuid:458053:102969> Wine it is listed as build 4.6 while <kuid2:458053:102969:1> Wine is listed as build 4.5

Just to put this one to bed.... a few days ago, the author uploaded an update to the wine tanker. After downloading in TANE, it showed as Faulty, missing dependency. This turned out to be the Wine product which was at build 4.6 on the DLS and thus did NOT download to TANE. A couple of days later, the author uploaded a version of the Wine product at build 4.5. After that, any attempt to update the wagon would succeed with no missing dependencies although, as pware noticed, the search process still included the 4.6 kuid and produced an error in the log file.
