So surprised that one of these hasn't been started already. Anyway, this thread is for you LNER fans to post your LNER Screenshots and WIPS. No post-1968 screenshots. I'll start it off with these:

Time to post some more I think! Surprised that this thread hasn't got more posts.

Just yesterday I bought Paul Hobb's J50. It is excellent and I recommend it to those who are interested in the LNER.

Hmmm. I don't think I worded it properly first time around. Anyway, heres what this thread is for: This thread is for you to post your LNER and British Railways Eastern Region screenshots and WIP's. Happy posting!

the reason why theres no posts is because of the limiting factor to lner as there is a uk screenshots thread and a uk steam thread where people can post
thanks
Patrick

Patrick: The UK steam thread has been dormant for months, and the UK screenshots thread is overrun by post-1990's stuff.
Hope5: Thanks for being the first person to post a screenshot. I've been thinking about getting that B1.

Hi Nathan, just because the UK steam thread has been dormant, doesn't mean you shouldn't post on it. If you do it will bring it back up the thread listings while also appealing to more people than an LNER specific thread might do. You may find that it also kick starts the steam thread again. Granted the UK screenshots thread is predominantly modern image, but that may just be down to current trends. Steam does feature now and again, it's just not as popular. Don't let it discourage you.

Here's an old one from me: Lavenham in Suffolk, during the bitter winter of 1963....

I agree though that we should try and reactivate the BR Steam screenshots thread. I'll post some of my Ashburton-Windrush pics there.

Here's an oldie. Despite me being a western-region man myself, LieLestroBrats' N2's must be some of the finest freeware steam locos availible...

Absolutely.

Rob's N2 is the best Trainz locomotive I've ever seen, in any category. Paul Hobb's Jinty and Andi's Metrovic runs a close second.

BTW my problem with posting here is that I have no idea which region most of my stuff belongs to!

Mick Berg.

Easy enough Mick. Just post anything labelled 'LNER' on the tank side or tender side. Apple green liveries is another hint (i.e. Flying Scotsman, Mallard etc)

Cheers
Tim

Here is first of what will be many from my route I have been building for a few months now.
This image is of a A4 WW2 Thompson Black with a Pullman consist.
Ex Kings Cross, via Leeds Central to Newcastle.
The route commences just before Wetherby so the Consist emanates from a Portal. drives to Harrogate for a 3 min stop then to a Portal representing Northallerton.
The image is taken as The Queen of Scots exits Ripon.
