Live chat on Forum possible?

I think it would be a cool idea to set-up a forum chat so we can chat live on the forums. Every topic that is posted here could have a link to a chatroom, where members can chat about the problem live(so members won't have to refresh pages to see new posts).

It would work just like the chat room on amtraktrainzgroup.com

And how is this going to help people who are not on line or in a different time zone if there are no posts to get info from?

Could be done but they would need moderating properly, plus as you have youngsters on here, which adds a whole load of extra complications with legal requirements for chatrooms where kids are involved. I used to moderate for an ISP and where kids are involved, may depend on what country you are in, you have to be vetted certified and trained properly. I doubt N3V would have the resources or staff to moderate the number of rooms you are proposing.

It already is done every day. Just start a MP session and all those that join it can chat live, I-Trainz-chat. :wave:
