Little annoyance with invisible stations

In Surveyor after laying any AJS invisible station and attaching platforms and track I then set a curve to create a curved platform/station. When I have finished editing and adding to my route I save and close the session.

The next time I open the surveyor to continue editing I find that all my curved stations have reverted to straight ones, resulting in passengers floating in mid air above the track. (not a very good idea to be in the way of a train passing through at 30mph)

I note that all the platform numbers have changed back to the defaults too.

Am I doing something wrong or is it a problem with Trainz 2010, as all the earlier versions don't have this problem at all.

Just add a few specs: Running trainz 2010, Windows 7, 64 bit. NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT

From what I've gathered elsewhere on the forums, you need to make sure you save both the route and session after making changes like that (you may also need to merge the layers, but a TS2010 user can advise more on that)

You need to open the session of the map for the settings to be retained. Opening map does not keep all these details only the default ones.

Having built a route, you can name these stations, but don't alter the other the other parameters. Save the layout. but when asked to save a session, do not do so. Exit surveyor to the main menu again. Highlight the route, and select "create session". Here you can name and adjust the parameters. Having saved the session they should remain as such. My layouts save quite well. Don't forget to set the "enable older content" for 2010, otherwise the platform numbers won't appear correctly, etc.

Thanks for your help. Being an old fogey 64 years old and being familiar with trz 2006 and 2009, I had no idea what to do with these new fangled layers and sessions in 2010. But I am learning. now I think I have sorted it all out. thanks again.
