Light Up my Life

I started a new session this morning (SP2) and I began the train at 0500 a.m. Everything was cool until at precisely 05:37 the locomotive headlights abruptly shut off. Now when I looked at the front of the engine, the headlights were still on-- ditchlights flashing and all, but from the view in the cab, looking out, the scenery in front of the loco was no longer "lit up" by the engine's headlights. Houses, buildings, A.I. carz night time lights were still on, but I didn't have the tracks and stuff in front of the loco lit up. In my opinion, if the buildings night lights are on, then the locomotive headlights should still light up the surrounding area. Makes for a little more realism eh?

Thank you,

Might be the loco. I had one that as soon as it stared to move the lights went out. I would stop it, turn on the lights and when it stared to move they went out again.

It is in the Sim itself. All routes I have run cut the light off of the terrain at 5:37 AM every time. The idea of keeping it on until the scenery objects cut off is a good idea. Somehow having a slow fade effect at about this time seems good for my interest.
