Lets See CONRAIL!!!

Heres a little something I've been plalyin round with, in between working on the River Line. I call it some where in Conrail-land. Its loosly based in Pennsy/ny areas. I know the name isnt really Eye catching, but it does the trick i think-
Heres a couple shots of a hot shot Intermodel train in the middle of a major snow storm-I hope that the photogapher dressed warm and had plenty of hot coco in his 4X4.:p ;)

great pictures

Hello all,

The spirt of conrail lives. Thanks to all that have submitted pics, keep em' coming; the more the better.

just a little trick i found while in servayer: using ALT-A-U i found makes a great way to take screens. just a little tip--

@LVman-The signal bridge was built in content in 2006. I pretty sure its the CNR Signal bridge in spline. I downloaded the signals from the DLS from a search i did. I think i typed in NEC signals and downloaded the pack..

I am going to post a screen in a little while when i get a part of "Conrail-Land" compleat. Maybe everyone will know where its at maybe not-ill post in a little bit. ;) :D

Happy Trainzin,
Mike S.

yeah i did i sadly lost that layout but am making a better one From altoona to johnstown conrail style. and yes i have been to both those places favorite places for railfanning besides colorado.

get a load of this

hello again-

Just as I promiced, here's some pics of a winter sene in Northern PA.
The snow is falling hard and the crossing gates have failed. The track gang must be pretty cold, the crew on the merchandice train is short on hours as well. The local crew tied down for the night and probly got some fresh coffie.

In this picture, we see an SD50 lashup. The snow hasnt stopped yet and the forecast is looking good either. State of emergancy is in effect...;)

Finaly our last picutre in this area is that of an Amtrak train pausing for another set of SD50's. Not to many people coming to work today-however the railroad must remain open to transport goods and passengers-
