i just bought a 27 inch asus monitor for my pc so i would have 1 big display in the middle of my eyefinity setup, i have a little white dot in the bottom middle of my screen, by what i understand its just a stuck pixel, any suggestions without having to return the monitor?:'(

It should not be there. If your monitor is still under warranty, it should be repaired or replaced.

Hi - For a new monitor then you should return it for a replacement as it will have a warranty. However - for everyone else. There is a small prog called UDPixel 2.2 that can be installed (kilobytes). Look for this on Google for example. When it is run a small square will appear on the screen. place it with the mouse over the problem pixel and click the mouse. It will attempt to kick-start the pixel.
I have used it and it works. There is a demo vid on youtube that demonstrates this. It can be done and it may help some of you if you get the problem.

Stuck pixels can be 'massaged' into life. Switch your monitor off and then gently, very gently, rub the area on the screen around the stuck monitor with a soft cloth, you may have to do this several times until the stuck pixel works. I have had stuck pixels and this method has worked every time for me.
