The present day trolley line goes from Steamtown, crosses a couple of city streets, goes under Spruce St. bridge, through a small freight yard, crosses the curved bridge over Roaring Brook, goes through the tunnel and then follows I-81 down to the ball park near Moosic. Would there be any feasibility of extending the trolley line further down the former L&WV right of way? Where did it go past that point? To Pittston and Wilkes-Barre? Is the Rocky Glen wooden coaster gone now? I thought I saw an article that it was razed. There used to be several amusement parks in NE PA, now all that is left is Knoebel's.

Here is a pic the southern end of the Scranton yard showing the north portal of the Crown Ave Tunnel.
Today's trolley line uses the LWV mainline to the Little Virginia area then crosses over to the Erie & Wyoming line before it ends at the ball park.
I guess if they wanted to they could extend the line to Rocky Glen, but south of that point the L&WV grade is long gone.
