Lake Orion Overnighter Route - T2010

Am new to this an just "exploring". I noticed that on the referenced route can't seem to access the autocars to hook up - switches not active to access spur??? Hope this is correct venue for question.

I am having the same issue as the original poster. I cannot access the auto cars hookup. Please help.
