I didn't want to hijack another thread with the pictures of my Levi& Appalachian back shops so I'll start a new thread. I've been asked to share the route so this is just a small piece to the whole route.

This is TransDem DRM of Levi/Booneville KY. and the idea was to create a fictional line from where my family is from north to Cincinnati where we moved to. Much of the larger part of the route followed along an abandoned grade out of Beattyville to Winchester. Leaving Winchester it somewhat follows the L&N and other abandoned grades to Maysville. It crosses the Ohio river to Aberdeen Oh. and then connects with a 4 track east/west mainline. From there it is west to Cincinnati and the end of the route I hope :hehe:.
My absolute favor thing in railroad operations is locomotive servicing. This is where I started the L&A and the idea was as this is the company HQ this is where all the equipment was serviced and it just kept growing. The Levi/Boonville area grew too although it is a smoky dirty place, but the population is well paid.
The idea for the dual turntable came from early blueprints of the Cincinnati Union Terminal service area. As you can see the valley that Levi sits in is small so I crammed in the back shops and used another turntable between the boiler house and erecting shop that the locomotives could be transferred to and from.
After an attack of route cancer I had to cannibalize an older backup in order to save the L&A service area. So with this hacked up part of the L&A route I will make available to the public. I know for sure that the coaling station is NOT on the DLS and I believe it is the Cowboy's and I think it is still available. Let me know of missing dependencies and I'll do my best to help. Be kind as this is my first public release of any route I have done.
