Has anyone played with the idea of sorting kuid's in the config file to possibly increase load speed. I noticed in most configs the kuid's are random order.
Just wondering if placing them in numerical order would help speed of finding or loading those items.
While on the subject of sorting, the string tables are much the same. I use the Display Industry Status,<kuid2:57145:80101:2>. Again the list is not sorted in alphabetical order.
What improvements might be gained by sorting if any.
One additional question. Image rendering. Do TGA files render fastest... or BMP's. The grapevine says to avoid JPG files.
True or false? And... do TEXTURE files work faster, or better than texture.txt files?
