What exactly is wrong with your water?
You know there are water ground textures? You bring all the terrain wher you want water to go up to a certain height with a tool and lay the textures over the area. Some spots on the Builtin Marias Pass are done like that.

Yeah I've done that too.
It's just I wish it worked because once I get to Knoxville, it will run along the river front and the Tennessee is rather large, it would look much better with the real water.
But I can't fix it so its really a dead subject.

5. United States Enters the War, Hope Comes for Tennessee Central
Wartime traffic in the early 1940s brightened the financial picture, but after that hard times returned. Despite losses in 1946, a group of investors led by J. L. Armstrong bought out the Davis group. The last of the steam engines were pulled from service in 1952 due to the arrival of four diesel locomotives (along with 200 coal hoppers) financed by a Reconstruction Finance Corporation loan in the amount of $2.2 million. 1954 saw the opening of the first unit of the Tennessee Valley Authority's Kingston coal-fired power generating plant, which was largely fed coal from TC's own on-line coal mines operators. The company dropped money-losing passenger service on July 31, 1955. 1956 saw the TC purchase more diesel locomotives and coal hoppers with another RFC loan. Brief profitability was restored from 1949 through 1956. In 1957 the TVA began awarding contracts to non-TC coal mine operators and their traffic boom went bust. Although the program of right-of-way improvement and new equipment acquisition had been carried out, the firm at length was unable to repay the RFC loans and fell into its third and final receivership in 1968. Its assets were sold off. Much of the Nashville beltline south of Nashville had already been sold to the state to build I-440. The Western Division from the western end of the I-440 right of way in Nashville to Hopkinsville, KY was purchased by the Illinois Central Railroad. The eastern end of the line from Harriman to the siding just west of Crossville went to the Southern Railway. The remaining middle portion from Crossville to Nashville went to its old and not at all friendly rival, the Louisville & Nashville.

Last I saw, non-functional water was a feature of TRS2006. It's either all still at only one level (like original Trainz) or not there at all. Apparently the new '06 baseboards tend to leak...

Thus a reason I stuck with '04. I like rippling, moving water. I wonder if Auran could create a feature to allow us to designate which direction the water is flowing.

I have experienced the same problem from the word go. I have 2009 and it freezees up when I try to use it. I have always thought it was because I needed more Ram.

Just a quick update,
Doing my research, I discovered that the original Tennessee Central ran only from Harriman to Hopkinsville.
However I still intend on trying to reach Knoxville.
What is fun about this is I can survey the land myself, and challenge myself to find the best and most realistic routing for the new railroad.
It is great to have an imagination!
In my little KT world, KT bought out Gulf & Ohio's Knoxville & Holston River Railroad.
So know I have three additional switchers!:hehe:
I'll get some more shots up sometime.

Woody, I had the same problem when I got TC. It only worked when it was calm water. I ended up getting a new graphics card and then worked fine.

I've done some research and found a prototypical way to by-pass downtown Crossville, reason being, since L&N took up the rails in '82, devolpment swallowed the former Tennessee Central through downtown, so I'll be constructing the line north of downtown closer to Interstate 40 and the industrial area.
