Just thought I'd show off a little...

This is the desert mining area...
The Bakers live way up in that right hand corner.

Thanks, Curtis.

Thought I'd update a little here. This is the desert area heading towards the 'Bakers' way up ahead there. Unfortunately, the trees don't show. LOD or something.

Desert coal loading facility just ahead...

After loading, we're heading to Edgemount to unload but have to wait here a few minutes for the Edgemount express to pass.

Here's a shot heading in the opposite direction toward Mineway. Haven't shared any pics of Mineway yet. But, I will soon enough.

The local freight is heading toward Mineway.

Now, here's that same shot as post number 23 above. This one has the trees and a lot more detail. YES!

My route is only 6 boards in all, 3 boards next to 3 boards and would be considered a 'dog bone' layout with loops at both ends.

Here's an aerial view;

Here's an overall shot of all 6 boards, or most of all 6 anyway, lookin' north. The route is about 3 miles long with lots of things to do.

Have fun, I am...;)

Rerouted some track, moved a few hills, and connected all 30" ng track to each other. The mines are now connected to each other.
The coal mine line now snakes up and out of the canyon at a pretty steep grade heading toward 'Minway' for a direct coal dump instead of a transfer.

I'm getting a bit closer to the release...
