Arrived back in London around 9.15pm from the Warley Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
A big thankyou to Joe_T, Wessex_Electric_Nutter & Honeymonster1971 for their enthusiasm & help over the weekend manning the Trainz stand.
Thanks again to 2995valliant for providing accommodation again this year, it was most appreciated.
With plenty of PC's & laptops in operation, a good show was put on by all and
customer enquiries were dealt with promptly and efficiently.
Thanks to all who stopped by to say hello & it was great to see Trainz heavyweights Eldavo & Paulhobbs again.
Sales were fairly brisk with Trainz Classics 3 being the best seller and we took nearly £500.
I'm pleased to say that electricity to the stand was provided without hitch this year which is of course condusive to the normal operation of sophisticated computer equipment.
The inevitable disaster occured early this morning when my vehicle wouldn't start due to a totally flat battery caused by a fault in the fan circuit somewhere. However, with the help of the friendly RAC man, I was on my way rapidly and only missed the first half hour of the show.
Luckily, the others arrived in good time to get the show up & running & even reported some sales by the time I arrived.
Goodnight, off to bed now, I'm tired after the weekend's edifications.
