I'm not making any demands or anything, but I just wondered... What if the Moffat Tunel somehow was never built and they continued to use the line over rollins pass? I have no Idea whether UP and BNSF would be running joint operations on it like today or if they (may I dare say) just abandoned the entire line in favor of Tennessee Pass? I just thought the idea sounded interesting. I looked at maps and photos and it was the biggest mess of loops that I think I'd ever seen! Let alone Devils Slide looks quite Frightening!
Looking at today's traffic, they'd really have to blast alot to fit long passing sidings on virtual cliffedges!
