Just to see if I can link properly to the image site. The image is of Johnshaven, a mid sized UK terminus with small port. Created in TS2010 native mode.

Thanks guys

Now I have the hang of this I will show some more from the layout from driver mode - perhaps in a week or so. Hope to upload it in a few weeks - that too will be my first!

Nice shot Yorkshire. Will look out for future ones.
Can I ask what kuid the statues are? I've looked for statues/monuments etc, on DLS but haven't seen those.

Cheers.
Casper:)

Hi Casper

I think they are built in to 2009/2010

They come up in the menu as city sculpture 01, 02, 03, 04.05

Kuid is kuid2:60349:25212:1 ; kuid2:60349:25213:1 etc. They may not be on download station as downloadable because of their builtin status. They are very fine and do enhance the scene - gives my town a bit of culture!!!!

Thanks Yorkshire
Doesn't appear to be available to me on DLS - just tried!
Maybe I do need to upgrade from TRS2004!

Assuming this is native mode in TS10, I'd be interested to know what the framerates are for that, pretty built-up, area in the screenshot.

I bet it's much better than for any previous version of Trainz.

Hi Casper

Here are a couple of close ups of the sculptures - I certainly like 2010 and am enjoying it now that I've got it more or less sorted

Hi Paul

have just run the layout for a few minutes to get the info for you.

Free roaming I get in the region of 26 in the terminus area, when I went to external view on a DMU leaving the terminus - it was 19/20.

My system is 3.16 Ghz Intel duo core (Shuttle PC) on XP SP3 with 4Gig RAM - though I believe only 3.2 is recognised by XP! Video card is NVidia 9600GT. Though the frame rates don't look top notch it doesnt appear to be jerky and I find it satisfactory.

Hope this helps.
