how do you make junctions on a track layout so you do not end up with a bunch of little curves in a junction where three or more tracks are layed out for a yard i made a route but at the end of the yard my track wiggles like a snake not strate like everyone elses yards

Hi 81 --

I'd certainly recommend using curve templates.

If you want something like this:

or this:

use curve templates and the straighten tool where I've marked the white dots:

yea like that where do you get curve templates at are thay on dls or sume place else once i learn more about makeing routes i will put them on dls for everyone to use

Try "CS_Yard Template_1" by Beadyboy. Kuid:37522:9972.

Beadyboy also does those spline templates that Philskene is using.

Hi

The way I get around this problem is by adding an extra spline just below the Y junction spline and L/click on the track between the two splines with the "straighten track 'B' ".

When building a yard with several sidings I carry out the same procedure with each turn-off and adjust the spline points until the main entry track is in a straight line. I then add a spline just beyond each turn-off and use the "straighten track 'B' " again to straighten each siding.

This should solve your problem. :)

The template in my screen shot is "90d_100-400m Template", kuid 37522:9994

When you use it, never EVER go below 200m. Use 300m if at all possible.
