JR Gondola issues (all of a sudden)

All of my gondolas from JR (freeware) suddenly have the error code: The tag "image" in "1" points to a nonexistent file: '64.texture'. How do I correct this?
 
My guess is:
- Patch your game to the latest build (currently 61388)
- Download the updated versions from JR
or
- Do both
 
You need to remove that line from the config. Open it up for edit, and edit it in CCP. I have had this error once or twice before.

NEVER OPEN A JR ITEM IN CCP!!!! EVER!!!! It can break some of the scripts and such. If you need to change anything do it by right clicking and editing in explorer.
 
I redownloaded all of them and now there is an UNKNOWN DEPENDENCY <kuid:312521:27013> that is missing from all of them.

scrap metal 4 bsnteng is the author. I bet this was packaged in the SP1 updates. As I'm at build 61388 and I have the gondolas installed and this dependency as well. If it wasn't I'm not sure where it came from.

The O/P's started another thread on this, the kuid doesn't download into build 44922, just trying 61388 now. No it doesn't.

I went to the TPR site, but the kuid won't download: when I click the download button, the screen turns orange and just sits there.

I get a page with jumbled figures. R/click and select download as cdp.
Stone the crows, first time I've had a direct download for ages.
Have you logged in ?
 
I just went into the config. file and found the 2 instances of that kuid and just deleted them. Save...exit...commit...and it worked ! I feel like a programmer now:cool: !! Thanks to all of you for your help, I learn so much from you all.

Content Creator Plus screws up the running numbers on Jointed Rail assets, and possibly other parts of the script, hence the stern warning to not take your advice.

I would recommend CCP only for creating a basic config.txt file for a new asset. Don't use it any other time, and certainly not with existing assets.

Thanks, Mike. There are very few people here that I take advice from...Zeldaboy is NOT one of them. I got everything fixed, by the way. Love your products.
 
I know that JR's older products are not the only ones that CCP mucks up. It's pretty much anything with older scripts, or older auto numbering systems that still use asset-filename(ones that doesn't use texture replacement).

That's one of the reasons why I don't advise using CCP for anything other than new assets, or assets that are already trainz-build 2.9 or higher. I do sometimes use Asset-X though to help with some asset changes, as long as I'm careful which Asset-X scripts I use.
