JR Does Not Exist?

jkinzel

The North Bank Route
I have not been able to get on JR for most of today,7/18, using either IE or Fire Fox.
Below are the results of a nslookup, JR does no exist.
It appears that I'm the only one with this issue or there would be other post.
Any thoughts as to what might be the issue?

Regards

Re-boot your router

That IP address is the home router address, it is not connected to the internet.

Before posting this thread I rebooted the computer, but it did not help. I shut everything down last night and started it up this morning and I was able to get on JR. I didn't think of the router because I was able to go all over the net with no problem, just not JointedRail. Very strange.

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Anytime you run into problem with a site and others work, keep in mind to restart the modems and routers and the computer. The stuff doesn't always update or recover right away as you have witnessed.

I've been having the same issue - JR, USLW, and Crossties websites haven't been loading for a few days now. I assumed their servers were down. I've restarted my router & my computer both. I figure it'll start working again eventually - there's bound to be glitches with the trons these days.

I just loaded the website up fine. They must've fixed whatever problem there was.

I just checked again and all of the JR-associated sites are working for me now. Like I figured, must have just been some weird trons. That website link you posted is pretty dang cool - I've bookmarked that one for later use! I travel a lot for work, so it can be tough to tell if something is or isn't working, or if I just have crappy internet (can't find US-speed elsewhere :-/)
