John King (heart bypass surgery on 19th of Jan)

Well John at least while you're recovering you'll have plenty to read as I can see this will turn into a multi-page thread fast! We all wish you the best, and a quick painless recovery. Look forward to working with you again!

All the best this day John. My neighbour has hd the op 2 times now, so not so daunting, He runs round like a young un now !!!

To John

Hope all goes well with the surgery, and that you get back to some sort of normality very soon, one bit of advice which does always seem to go a miss after a week or so is, Please do what the doctors say, if you rush to quickly to get better, you'll end up in a worse state than before...

Get well soon John...

Not yet Mike. I intend to try to contact him in a few days.. He told me that he will travel to Melbourne (it's a lot cooler there than in Cairns) to spend time with friends and recuperate.

Hi Peter,

thanks very much for the update mate. ;)

I hope John is on the mend.

regards,
Mike.

;) 'What's in a name? What's in a DLS?', inquired Juliet to Romeo.

One of the most important things of life consists of having good health and time to enjoy it, and that's what we all wish good old John now.

The good-wishing side of Alberte

Just off the phone from speaking to John..

His bypass surgery has been successful but he is struggling, at present, with a post operative infection.

On the plus side, he sounded good and was saying he feels a lot better today than he did yesterday.
