pagroov: What I want to do is at least release a beta version around the end of December The Eastern sector is pretty much done just some minor detailing to be done later in the future but you can operate trains on it. Maybe call it. SIRL phase 1. BTW, how do I go about uploading stuff on the download station? I've never done it before? IF it's too complicated, I can always upload the CDP on my one-dive storage site and people can get it from there.

@ Railshuttle.

Nice pics. Uploading to the DLS is not too difficult. But here is a link to a tutorial on what you need to do:

http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tut...guides/uploading-assets-using-content-manager

Make sure you fill out the infoboxes around your upload too. Your upload should contain a thumbnail with a screenshot. That proces was described in the #2 post of this topic.

http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?69822-Adding-Thumbnail-to-Route-for-Upload

Make a nice recognizable Thumbnail (for example in Gimp or Photoshop) add a title in the pic (like I have done with the thumbnail of my route) so that you have a recognizable style.

I also recommend to tell the people some facts about your route in the route description. Both by a short story and a fact and/or changelist. Hope this helps a bit.
To be able to upload to the DLS I advise at least Trainz 12 sp1 +

At tracks sections there is a button that allows me to make OTHER lines like TSM,SAM, etc. I tried it but i did not work .

@bogdy11
I gotta say i like the fact Hirochi makes these tracks... but in the end i am not at all fond of the spline tracks cause as you are already experiencing... they dont connect well or not even a little... its how Splines are... they just work like nothin...

Don't your have to try from the inside out? So I mean from the station toward the track? I had problems with splines to. I found by connecting FROM the station to another track it can work. I have to admit that I haven't tried the newest Hiroshi station (the last one he uploaded).

thanks for the tutorial Hiroshi. I kinda figgered it out and what I did for the change from 2 to four tracks was to use the nippon tracks that the spline used as a filler and just connected the wires and catenary bridges over them.

Available are the following items. I released them first because 2 of them (the aircraft) are used within a session of the upcoming Electro Island 3.0. The other items are engine sounds for the Shinkansen E5/E5Red, N700 and Maglev trains.

For best results add the line : -disablerailjointsound in trainzoptions.txt.

This removes the click clack tracksound.
The Aircraft are usable only in TS12. I did receive new scripts from Vulcan but these aircraft are used in the TS12 version of Electro Island 3.0. I will update them later for TANE.

In the description of the Boeing 747-400 it says that an engine sound by David McVeigh is used. However this is not true anymore. I went back to the default sound for compatibility. But the fault is still in the description. But the Aircraft will work nicely in Ts12.

I didn't know ANA had a 737. I've seen their 777 and I think they have the new 787 dream liner too. I've never seen their 747 I guess they keep that one in their air space.

I didn't know ANA had a *snip* 747 I guess they keep that one in their air space.

Actually All Nippon Airways just retired their last 747-400 last year in june. It was a non winglet (D) Domestic model strictly used on Japanese Trunk routes.
JAL retired their back in 2011 after they restructured. JAl had used something over 100 of the different variants of 747 through the years. ANA used only the 747SR and the -200 back in the late 80's and moved to the 400 & 400D in the 90's at both times of order not exceeding 23 planes per order.

I have been working on the Yokkaichi 762MM (former Kintetsu) railway in order to get accurate ground measures and direction angles, if someone want to merge another measurement accurate route.

Hi Hirochi.
I am very impressed with your work. Congratulations for your efforts.
A question: Are the stairs and footbridge (shown above) separate items?
If so, are they available on the DLS?
They are most suitable for my Australian route.
Best wishes.
NickE

Hey Hirochi!! congrats on your latest release. going by the pics we can now connect the new passenger enabled Yamanote stations to the Nipppon station splines you made earlier for larger stations!! Cool!!

Hirochi.
Thank you for the information (and shots) of the stairs and footbridge.
Excellent work. and most useful
Best wishes

Hello all,

Good news.

Today I uploaded Electro Island 3.0. for Trainz 12 Build 61388. Its currently waiting for processing.

With this I feel really relieved. It is quite scary to have an enormous project on your HD. Of course you make backups etc but it still is good to have it on the DLS now.
Check this thread soon for the official feature list and release post. This version will come without any sessions. I plan on to add the sessions later.

:D.

Ok in advance to the upload to the DLS (route is not up yet but will be later this week).
Here is the change list for Version 3.0. with the promo screenshot. Will do some normal screenshots also this week.

Electro Island. Version 3.0 for Trainz 12 Build 61388

- Electro Island is a large island in the Icarus Gulf (a fantasy region). The island is about 60 kilometers in length from North to South. It features 3 large cities and several smaller ones on the Island itself. These regions are connected by an extensive network of TGV, Shinkansen and normal lines. The Japanese influenced central valley of Toshin city has also a large Narrow Gauge network (1036mm) for Japanese EMU's.
- In the South of the Island lies the City of Colden which is connected with the Icarus Coast via the Colden Landbridge. This is an overseas Shinkansen and road connection to the city of Shin Hanyo on the mainland (the fourth large city on the map).Shin Hanyo has a large Shinkansen terminal where 2 Shinkansen lines meet. For more information and maps see the Japan screenshots section of the Trainz Forum.

TANE:
Route can be exported to TANE but is not officially supported yet. In Tane you get about 10 unknown items. I did track most of them down. Will post a list of those items when I think TANE is good enough to convert to. At his moment the new builds look promising but I am not a Beta tester so you have to wait a little longer for a TANE conversion.
