Japan

Right now. I have 2238 files in my content manager. About 2000 of these files are for japanese trainz. I can't even imagine about putting it all on DLS. I'am quite lazy for that. :hehe:
But all files are saved three times. First copy is in my content manager in PC which is used. A the other two are on external HDD each one has it's own. So data never be deleted or missing.
If mega delete my content I upload it again immediately. I check my mega twice a week.
I'm even going to put all my files in torrent file. Because it's very quick to download.
I downloaded all your content and checked them out (well the buildings just partialy cause i cant look over that many) and there is alot that is actually quite handy... like the tracks for example are something kinda missing aswell as the crossing ground you made as a WIP... the KOKI are the most awsome thing anyway and if you could make the cargo actually a loadable cargo and the wagons loadable... that stuff's gonna be awsome! but its hard to pinpoint everything that is actually something you should definitly upload... pretty much everything is a usefull thing... and well... some of the buildings have a weird align point 700m away for some reasons...

By the way for a route idea. A part of the Romancecar route could also be fun. For example Hakone Yumoto -Odawara?
Hm... the issues i see with that is that it isnt realy long and the two gauge tracks might get a bit of trouble aswell.... i am trying to think of a none electrified line the whole time aswell but god...

So so far we have the following proposals for a Japanese shortline community route:

- Tsurumi line
- Kinetsu line
- Fukushima Kotsu Lizaka line
- Odakyu line Hakone> Odawara

Let's vote this week about which route to make? Is that an idea?

After that one member can start making the baseboards and basic textures? So that route maker has a rough idea where the built up areas are and where the industry and stations are.

I'm in besides the Electro Island project I'm working on.

For me i basically vote in that order you wrote there, my main vote stays on the Tsurumi Line

and don't worry, i/we didn't intend to speed it up so everything else gets forgotten, Own work goes before the community thing here unless someones makes it soely their priority!

Enoden or Tangurumi Tram Lines
Gonou (Ajigasawa to Kawabe) for a dmu line to run Kiha 40's

I would like to see or if I had the time, theYokkaichi Asunaro Utube-Hachioji lines (Kintetsu 762MM).

The Kintetsu Railway dropped these line lines from their network, the local government of Yokkaichi chartered a new company to manage the current system left behind by kintetsu. The Utube line is only 5.7KM with 8 Stations, and the Hachioji Line is 1.3km from Hinaga station (two stations after Asunaro Yokkaichi Station) to Nishikino Station .

It is a very short line with lots of scenery, the amount of area is small enough that you could super detail the route. The number of level crossings that go across at different angles aside from perpendicular is to the point that ATLS crossings are a must use item.

I wish the San nin line was on the roster. It's the first route I played on the old Densha De Go Game that got me hooked to JR trains in the first place. I'm sure the real route has changed since then. The Tsumari Line would be pretty cool. It's got three branch lines and one of them passes some sort of dock or chemical plant.

Well its definitly ont he roster now since you named it. Pretty sure its possible and the trains are there too if i see that right... only problem i would see is the terrain maybe...

Also yes, the Tsurumi Line is a Harbor Line wich basically follows along the southwestern docks of tokyo there....

Ok I vote myself for the Tsurumi line too. As this line seems getting the most votes. Let's call it the "Tsurumi Line system" as the branch lines are gonna also be included. Plus point for this idea that at Tsurumi Station it crosses the Tokaido main line which can mean expansions in the future in the direction of Shinkagawa or Yokahama stations.

I would say Kintetsu Utsube Line or like Marinemania said Yokkaichi Asunarou Utsube (5.7 km) and Hachiōji line (1.3 km) which Yokkaichi Asunarou Railway has taken over this year.

Second would be Tsurumi line.

Railshuttle: which part/section of the San'in main line? The line is 676km long.

Pagroove: expensions towards Shinagawa/Yokahama from Tsurumi line would indeed be possible, you might even be able to get Shinagawa station from Andi for when he releases his Yamanote line, but that would also mean his route would be required which will be payware.

About my route I have finally been able to fill an large empty area, remember the map picture at post 1961, page 131?
The large red area above Iwayama depot was supposed to be the depot at the start when I build the route, but I desided to put the depot at the end and extend the table and because of that the area kept being empty till an few days ago, the result you can see in the next pics.

Well... i guess we can make atleast a cheap version... doesnt have to be his wondefull version if ours is free (due to multiplayer)

Damn those pictures are AWSOME...

nice Hirochi!! man the Yamanote Line (or The Green line as I like to call it) sure has updated!!
Acelaamtrack: Wow man just wow!! Must've taken months to carve out that highly detailed park!! As for what part of the Sannin line I'm guessing maybe form Kyoto to maybe a few stops past the station that the train starts at in Densha De Go But I think that the segment that runs through the mountains and runs next to a large river before it enters a tunnel has been turned into some sort of Tourist line now. but Starting at Kyoto would not only give you a part of the Tokaido line but, the bullet train as well.

@ Acelaamtrak:

Absolutely fantastic screenshots. Very good details in the park.
@Hirochi

The E235 is looking great. Just like real thing.

So I recently saw pictures of the series 10 enoden line train and I instantly loved it, I would really love it if some one made it (I most likely will make a fictional route for it). As for my crossing signals I'm starting all over again due to several bugs. Hirochi I can not wait for you to release that yamanote line train!:udrool:

So it seams each of these lines need the same things New Railroad Signals, Atls crossing signals, station signs, railroad equipment, signs, catenary, I also think these could also use, people (Japanese) shrines/temples/statues kiosk road signs ATLS signals, billboards, costum track, stores, and station parts, these are things that will probably attract people to this route. Sorry for any spelling errors my keyboard is acting up.

well I'm sure Keime has made most of the buildings and roadsigns that might be on the selected route. Not too sure with the Atls crossings I would prefer a simpler set up like Kenichiro's already made and set to go. Now the trains themselves would have to be custom made depending on the route chosen.
