Hirochi: great cabin and dmu.

Mikey186: Keimei made great items but we still have Hirochi and we also now have Andi who both still make great items, the latter being payware but of great quality and some interesting projects he is planning to do in the future.
titanicchristo: Andi has made an E231-500 Yamanote line which is going to be released when he finished the Yamanote line route, he might make an 50th anniversary livery and if not I think (don't know for sure if you can just reskin and release it since it's payware) you can use that as an base for making the reskin.
Matura: great I am looking forward to your objects, more objects are always good for filling the layout and I see in the pics some very nice items.
Marinemania: am looking forward towards your routes in the future.
Pagroove: looks good and interesting too see what if liveries.
Now I haven't done much since last time I posted here but I finedetailed the area infront of Danchi station last few days, and I recieved one of my favorite trains of japan from Andi, the series 117!

The front of danchi, I also added some objects to the wall which was empty before.
Nothing new, just showing off the 117 in my favorite livery :hehe:.

So close you can almost feel it.
So i decided to give route building a break for the moment after some frustration with ATLS. And I wound up creating a generic horn some of you might like. I was almost satisfied when I noticed the doppler effect was not working, I changed the sound from stereo to mono. And now it just needs some fine tuning. heres' a preview below.
I will make sure I it upload when its ready.

Finally had the time to make a Electro Island v 2.0. trailer. Here is the Electro Island V2.0. Shinkansen trailer.

Hey I'm just wondering where can I find the red train at the bottom of pg 119 in the video, or is it a reskin it looks extremely like a E231-500 Yamanote line.

That is actually a recently scrapped EMU set from JR East its listed as E331 on the Download Station, its under the author Keimei. I'm updating the horn and the engine specs to be more realistic.

cool video pagroov!! those land bridges must've been quite the job to pull off!! looking forward to seeing videos of the new extended narrow gauged commuter lines. Heh!! [/IMG]onrail e motors pulling intermodals when the old JR freight trains "Broke" (Well they are pretty old. LOL) Almost reminds one of the old "Flex-I-Van" service the NYC ran in the early 1900s. As to who will handle the Freight on the line in the Trains 12 version is still kinda up in the air. Most Likely NS will since they both share the freight yard in East Lake. I've made yet more small progress on the line. I've redone Blue Bay. It was a small flag stop in the 2006 version and now since the community has grown a bit in trainz 12, The station is a bit larger. Only 2 more stops till I reach East Lake and the Sanito Line will be fully restored!! Hirochi: You've done a great job updating the DMUs. I was wondering is it possible for you to modify one into this EMU from the Densha De Go game. It seems like the same car type only it has a phantograph. Well take care everyone!!

Great work Hirochi, good to see that you are keeping things up to date. I have all your released DLS assets and am well into creating very fictional Japanese mini routes and scenarios which I hope to upload soon.

Just a general question for all who read this thread - in the beginning of this thread many years ago I recall pictures of Tokyo Station etc - just wondering if anyone has come across a Tokyo Station asset or is intending to do one?

Hi Pagroove, You've done a fantastic job on the video; and the music is great. I also downloaded your Electro Island V2.0 Route / Sessions and I must congratulate you for the huge amount of detail you've put into this project. I have really been enjoying what you have created.
There are a large number of 'tunnels' on your layout and I noticed that ground textures are blocking the entrance to some of these. However, this is easily fixed.
If I may make a small suggestion,... Where your "Concrete Bridge 01" is to link with "Tunnel Beton 2Te" , place a piece of regular track ("Concrete New 1t") between them and the tunnel will open, which will make it look much more realistic. I did a small section of track near the "ATT Temple Japanese" Hazimachi - I did like the way it looked and so when I have some time, I'll do the rest of the layout.
With High Speed Rail the track also needs to be smooth, particularly through turnouts/points/switches; and I've found the Straighten Track 'B' edit button takes care of that.
All in all, you've got a wonderful route that will give Trainzers heaps of high speed enjoyment. Cheers,

Those pictures belonged to Connyxy, as for her layout of tokyo station even at time it was unclear whether she released it or not. Due to circumstances that frustrated her about the community in general, and her personal life she left the community. However it seems she pops in every now and then, but she hasn't made a post in about 5 years. Perhaps if we were all good little boys and girls she might come back to play. I do miss her screenshots they were quite inspirational.

On my Trainz 12 version I took especially care to make the high speed routes as bug free possible. That was the main goal for version 2.0. But ground textures that are blocking tunnel entrances I have not seen on my system. And I tested and drove the Shinkansen and TGV routes many times.
On my version no tunnel entrance is blocked.
That I have done in many cases. I made the Concrete New 1t very short but it is there. I get the feeling that routes do not translate 100% identical to another system.
A while back Railshuttle reported problems with the route that I had not. Are you sure that you have downloaded everything? Maybe the problem is with the Tunnel Beton 2TE. I maybe plan to replace them with the new Hirochi tunnels.
Thanks for taking the time to give some feedback as it is important to know how a route plays out on other computers

On page 119 there is no video so I assume you mean the red train in my video? The red train in this is the E5 Red Shinkansen by Hirochi. It is an E5 set with an E6 livery on it.
