i watched alot of benchmarks and reviews about the ivybridge cpu vs the new haswell chip released june 2nd. anyone thats on the fence about upgrading from ivybridge to haswell , dont waste your money. currently you will only get roughly a 10% increase upgrading to haswell. keep in mind when upgrading to haswell the cpu socket has changed from socket 1155 to 1150 as well, so the price to shell out for a new motherboard and cpu for a 10% increase doesn't seem to be worth it.for anyone using anything older than ivybridge it might be worth the upgrade. keep in mind there was only a 10-15% improvement from sandybridge to ivybridge.so anyone looking to upgrade sandybridge you could see a 35% increase moving up to haswell. a good note to keep in mind now that the socket has changed, the next 3 cpu's will be socket 1150 as well with intel broadwell being after haswell next year. hope this info helps anyone considering upgrading. spend that extra money towards a faster gpu or trainz products
