It's Been 14 Hours So Far -- My Two Assets Are Still Unprocessed -- What's Up?

In the past when I submitted assets for the DLS it only took a few hours to go from the Un-Processed stage to the Preview stage for me to then Approve or not. I submitted 2 assets yesterday evening, checked the status today and found that they are still Un-Processed. Something amiss there or does this happen sometimes? Next time I think I'll just take the 'straight upload' option without any previews. This is the longest I saw any of my assets take to go from the Un-Processed stage to a Preview stage ever. It's been 14 hours so far.

Only 14 hours - luxury!

Check your email folders, including the junk folder. You should have received an email detailing the fate of your submitted asset(s). If it has errors it will be rejected and will not appear at all. But even with no errors and an "Upload approved" verdict it can take up to a few days - the process is mysterious.

Using the 'straight upload' option without previews will make little if any difference.

I think the processing activity wakes up every couple of hours or so and does what is in the queue. But, if any of the assets in the upload have an issue such as mismatched materials, trainz builds less than 3.5, etc, then you should get an e-mail saying your assets are in your personal Pending Approval queue. So you might check that.

If you approve assets that have errors and some particular warnings then they get sent to the CRG's faulty list queue where they might stay until the end of time.
