Issue with Routes from DLC

Ive never had any issues with downloading routes and running them from the DLC.
Recently however I am downloading routes and when i open them up all im getting is the base boards and the paint... their is no track or buildings / trees etc.
its not every route just some of them?
I have a picture but other than put an URL cant see how to upload it here.
Driver_Col has updated a lot of his routes....none of them work, yet the old versions still work, (I have only used Driver_Col as an example) this is happening with a lot of different authors routes.

Anyone know whats going on?
