ISO Alco 0-6-0

Friends,

There are a number of US prototype 0-6-0 switchers on the DLS, but at first glance, they would all appear to be reskins of a Baldwin product built for the Union Pacific. I'm contemplating a new route for which I need four Alco 0-6-0 switchers. Are there any Alco 0-6-0's out there?

Paulz Trainz USA offers the USRA 0-6-0 (as payware) which was made by both Baldwin and ALCO during the war. His rates are modest.

A slight correction

Hey cascaderailroad --

"Alto Dave made a 0-6-0 and I got it to work in TRS2006."

Would it not be more correct to say:
"and Phil Skene got it to work in TRS2006, TS2009, TS10 and TS12, and mounted the locomotive in RapidShare. The links to Phil's RapidShare files can be found here:"
Nice video!

You are correct ... the links show your fixed versions ... the one on the DLS previously had missing dependencies ... it has been awhile ... sorry ... I did not mean to take any credit for the links ... only to give your links to everybody out there.

Yes, I know you meant no harm. And that loco is well worth sharing.

What still amazes me is that although that particular locomotive dates back to well before the stone age, it still holds up extremely well.

It's worth noting that the Pantograph key activates the animated bell and the firebox will dump ash at an ash pit (provided the pit is correctly configured). The colours of the marker lights, the position of the headlight and the coal pusher in the tender can also be configured in Surveyor. These are all nice little touches.
