Is this website useful for conten creators?

This is a site that is dedicated strictly to textures and they can't be used in payware, but are can be used on freeware, non open source projects.

So is this useful for any of the content creators? The railroad tracks and other textures look excellent IMO.

Yes - there's one or two of us using it already!

In fact, the licence permits use in payware and/or commercial games. The restrictions are on re-distributing the textures without using them in a model or game. The licence specifically permits re-distributing them where they have been modified for, and are distributed with a model.

There's loads of really good building textures there too...

Ah, thank you Paul for the clarification. I only took a quick glance at the license before I posted. My brother sent me the link. He's a 3D modeler and may work on some collaborative projects with me.

Your content is wonderful, and I can see why you'd use these textures. I love driving your Bridgehampton Tram route. :D

Thier license just confuses me even when paulzmay explains it.

I do like their tutorials, hopefully I get a response on one so I can try it out on normal maps.

I guess they are just trying to make the textures available to modellers to do what they want, but to avoid getting ripped off by others trying to sell packs of textures. Because the licence is fairly open, it's my preferred site.
