Is this a possible source for the Update problem

I don't know if this is bthe problem but i put my database and TRAINZ on a 1 tb external drive it ran extremly badly on my desktop (stutering ang jambing up.
i then pluged the the drive and pluged it into my laptop and it ran normaly.
the laptop isnt the best so i do all my trainzing on the desk top.
the difference between the two is the cesktop is win 10 and the laptop is win11. !!!!!!!
is this the problem. ?????

This wasput on the 14 page problem page which hasnt had an item entered for over a week.
