i have a logitech wireless mouse and keyboard, i get about 2-3 months or more on batteries and never turn the mouse off, and do a quite a bit of design work. keyboard goes about 6 months. i use energizer lithum batteries.

i have a logitech mx110 w/less keyboard and mouse, the first set of batts were duracell and they lasted 2 days but i tried a set of my dads rechargeables and they lasted 3-4 weeks, so i brought another set, they are energizer rechargables 2500mAH most standard rechargables are around 700mAh
:)

I use those same batteries in all of my AA utilities...I think I have about eight...a couple get low, exchange them for fresh ones and charge overnight!

Hi LO POLY
I have a Microsoft wireless keboard and mouse, have had for a couple of months now, spend hours everyday on my pc running trains as well as the usual stuff, still using the batteries that came with it,no problems at all. the reason I like this over wired ones is more freedom of movemet, I have
a sliding shelf in my desk. the loewr one I use when I'm typing like now,
and on the upper shelf whe I'm running trains etc. and plenty of freedom eith the mouse too.:D

I've given up on the expensive keyboards & mice I've gone back to basics 1/4 the price & do the same job.I found after awhile I was using the additional keys less & less.
I also have Arthritis & was on a pension at 45 & found the best thing I did was redesign my computer desk to an L shape extension on the RHS for my mouse so my arm lays flat on the desk as well as an 18" deep slide out keyboard drawer (same reason not holding arms in air using mouse or keyboard)
This is what I use now $15 keyboard & $9 mouse they usually last me about 12mths or so
