Is there an easy way to update assets

In CMP (I'm using 2010) in the "All" tab the list is very large and I noticed a lot with "Update Available" symbols, dragging these one at a time to the download box then deleting obsolete assets would take a few days!!:eek:
Is there a quicker method?:o

Edit:
Doing this causes some of the Assets to have errors! I don't see a way of going backwards!!

If you add 2 search options in the search pane:
Out of Date = True
Location = Local
it should filter you down to just those assets you have installed with updates available. From there you can multi-pick those assets you wish to update.

It may be better to Archive instead of Delete, but I am sure one of the more knowledgeable Trainzers will clarify this.

Yes I went to the "Out of Date" tab and thought this is convenient, I'll select all and drag to downloader!! Bad move, 2 hours later I ended it all and now re-installing for the 5th time this week!! It doesn't seem to matter where I go or what I do in this game it always leads to disaster and huge amounts of lost time!!:(

I would advise not updating anything unless you actually need to - the DLS Foulup project has a number of KUID2 replacements that don't work as well as the originals or even don't work at all. Unpaid volunteers are doing the updating, a 'bot is checking the updates, if the 'bot doesn't find what it considers an error the KUID2 is posted regardless if it works or not.
